How Record Attachment Works

Records belong to contacts first. When attaching to a job:

  1. The contact must have the record (or you create it)
  2. Select from the contact's existing records
  3. Or create a new record that saves to contact AND attaches to job

Step-by-Step Fix

  1. Open the job
  2. Find the Custom Records section
  3. Click Add Record
  4. If no records appear, the contact doesn't have any yet
  5. Click Create New to add one
  6. Fill in the record details
  7. Save - it attaches to both the contact and the job
