Equipment Status Wrong? How to Update Location and Assignment

Update equipment status in Local Business Pro when it shows the wrong location, assignment, or availability.

Quick Answer: Click on the equipment card, open the detail view, update the status (Available, With Team, At Property, Maintenance), change the assignment if needed, and save.

Updating Equipment Status

  1. Navigate to Operations > Equipment
  2. Find the equipment with incorrect status
  3. Click on the equipment card
  4. In the detail view, find the Status dropdown
  5. Select the correct status:
  6. - Available - Ready for use
  7. - With Team - Assigned to a team member
  8. - At Property - Left at a customer location
  9. - Maintenance - Being repaired or serviced
  10. Update the Assigned To if the person has changed
  11. Add a note explaining the change if helpful
  12. Click Save

  • Update status immediately when equipment moves
