Equipment Status Wrong? How to Update Location and Assignment
Update equipment status in Local Business Pro when it shows the wrong location, assignment, or availability.
Quick Answer: Click on the equipment card, open the detail view, update the status (Available, With Team, At Property, Maintenance), change the assignment if needed, and save.
Updating Equipment Status
- Navigate to Operations > Equipment
- Find the equipment with incorrect status
- Click on the equipment card
- In the detail view, find the Status dropdown
- Select the correct status:
- - Available - Ready for use
- - With Team - Assigned to a team member
- - At Property - Left at a customer location
- - Maintenance - Being repaired or serviced
- Update the Assigned To if the person has changed
- Add a note explaining the change if helpful
- Click Save
